Camel Festival
One of our most popular festivals in winter is two-humped Thousand Bactrian Camel Festival. This festival has been organized every year since 1997 in the Gobi Desert.
For this year 2019, festival held on March 5 and 7 for 2 days in Bulgan soum in South-Gobi province.
Over 1000 camels are gathered at the festival. Highlights of the festival include a camel race, a camel polo match, best couple who wear National clothes /Deel/. Traditional Mongolian musicians and dancers offer great performances at the festival.
